Could the Magic City use some innovation? If so, how much? In what areas?

The following survey is designed to give those that live, work, play, learn, shop, worship or serve in Birmingham an opportunity to express their ideas and opinions on the need for innovation in the following 4 areas in this city:
1. Innovation in Neighborhoods
2. Innovation in Communication
3. Innovation in Public Administration
4. Innovation in Community Health

Insights from this survey will be used in a number of ways including informing the creation or modification of outreach initiatives and educational offerings.

Those who have pilot tested the survey have completed it in less than 15 minutes.

The survey is easily accessible via all devices including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Your responses will be kept anonymous. Apart from basic demographics (e.g. age, gender, etc), the survey asks for no personally identifying information.

The survey will be made widely available to the public via social media, community groups, listserves and other public outlets. We are hoping for participation from at least 1,000 potential respondents.

Responses of each participant will be combined, summarized and made available via a summary report to interested parties including leaders in business, education, local government and public health among others.

We expect the results of this survey will have indirect benefits to Birmingham and stakeholders like you by offering local leaders a much needed snapshot to guide their decisions, policy-making and change management activities.

Besides your time, there is no cost to participate in the survey; There is no monetary compensation associated with participation. The survey is voluntary. There are no expected risks or harm associated with participating in this survey. You may discontinue your participation at any time.
